Gallery @ 500ft

Contemporary Art at the Edge of the West Country

Perched above the Bristol Channel in the historic village of Lynton, Gallery @ 500ft is the West Country home of the Atelier & Grove artistic programme.

Above Coast and Channel

Named for its position five hundred feet above the Bristol Channel, the gallery sits within one of Britain's most dramatic landscapes. The Atlantic light and rugged coastline form a quiet but constant influence on the work shown here.

Beyond the Conventional

The gallery represents a carefully selected group of contemporary artists and operates as both exhibition space and artists' agency. Its programme moves between emerging voices and established names, with a particular interest in work that explores authorship, mythology, tradition, and place.

Part of the A&G ecosystem

Gallery @ 500ft forms part of the wider Atelier & Grove ecosystem, linking exhibitions in North Devon with projects at Alma House in Jersey and collaborations with artists internationally.
